Linux Lite 6.2 RC1 基于最 Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish) 操作系统，并由 Linux 5.15 LTS 内核提供支持，即将推出的 Linux Lite 6.2 版本承诺改进 Lite 升级实用程序、新的最终用户对话框，以及集成最新的 LibreOffice 版本。
Linux Lite 6.2 还将具有更新的 Papirus 图标集、Shotcut 视频编辑器作为 Lite Software 中 Openshot 的替代品、修复了 Lite Tweaks 中的主机名错误和内核删除、修复了 Lite Sources 中的代号错误、改进了硬件数据库支持更多设备和新壁纸。

Linux Lite lead developer and maintainer Jerry Bezencon has released the Release Candidate (RC) for Linux Lite version 6.2.
Linux Lite 6.2 RC1 is based on the latest Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish) operating system and powered by the Linux 5.15 LTS kernel, the upcoming Linux Lite 6.2 release promises improved Lite upgrade utilities, new end-user dialogs, and integration of the latest LibreOffice version.
Linux Lite 6.2 will also feature an updated Papirus icon set, Shotcut video editor as a replacement for Openshot in Lite Software, fixes for hostname bugs and kernel removals in Lite Tweaks, fixes for codename bugs in Lite Sources, hardware improvements Database supports more devices and new wallpapers.
On top of that, Task Manager (System Monitoring Center) received updated icons, apt-key fixed deprecation warnings on Ubuntu, and Lite Patch was updated to handle potential update bugs.
Linux Lite 6.2 is scheduled for release on November 1, 2022.
