Finnix is a free, standalone, bootable Linux distribution for system administrators, based on Debian. Finnix includes the latest technologies for sysadmins, hundreds of software packages for sysadmins, and more. Best of all, Finnix is small enough to quickly download and write to a USB drive or burn to a CD. Finnix isn't for the average desktop user, and it doesn't include any desktop or productivity tools.
Six months after the last version update, Finnix 124 is officially released, and this release also celebrates the 22nd anniversary of Finnix’s first public release.
Major updates to Finnix 124 include:
The wifi-connect helper, invoked without any command line options, now displays nearby access points
ip= kernel command line network configuration now supports netmasks in addition to prefix length
Added a pure Python strings implementation
Added unofficial build support for RISC-V (riscv64) in addition to amd64, i386, arm64, armhf, ppc64el, s390x
Replaced running systemd finnix.target with more traditional multi-user.target

Finnix 124 主要的更新内容包括：
wifi-connect 辅助工具在没有任何命令行选项的情况下调用，现在会显示附近的接入点
ip= 内核命令行网络配置现在除了前缀长度外还支持 netmasks
增加了一个纯 Python strings 的实现
除了 amd64、i386、arm64、armhf、ppc64el、s390x 之外，还增加了对 RISC-V (riscv64) 的非官方构建支持
