不过在这些补丁中，有网友发现了微软延长了ESU密钥，又增加了第4、5、6年的期限，这样算起来ESU更新计划最长有6年时间，可以用到2026年，比之前原定的2023年又多了三年。
这对企业级用户来说是好事，原本运行Win7的系统在还能再用几年，不用为升级发愁了。
当然，对个人用户来说这个计划没什么意义，ESU更新计划是付费购买的，每年价格可达200欧元，这些钱足够买新系统了，只有企业级用户才会花钱购买微软的补丁更新。
