私家车新车上牌将免查验
公安部新修订的《机动车登记规定》5月1日起实施。
此次修订进一步改革完善机动车登记制度，推出5项便利机动车登记新措施。一是推行私家车新车上牌免查验。二是推行小客车登记全国“一证通办”。三是推行车辆信息变更“跨省通办”。四是推行申请资料和档案电子化。五是推行部门信息联网共享核查。
用人单位不得对职校毕业生设置就业门槛
5月1日起，新修订的《职业教育法》将施行，新修订的《职业教育法》首次以法律形式确定职业教育与普通教育地位同等重要。

国家烟草专卖局发布的《电子烟管理办法》5月1日正式实施，明确禁止销售除烟草口味外的调味电子烟和可自行添加雾化物的电子烟。

最高法发布的《关于修改<最高人民法院关于审理人身损害赔偿案件适用法律若干问题的解释>的决定》于5月1日起施行。
本次修改将残疾赔偿金、死亡赔偿金以及被扶养人生活费由原来的城乡区分的赔偿标准修改为统一采用城镇居民标准计算。

黑恶犯罪依法从严惩治
5月1日起《反有组织犯罪法》正式实施，为常态化开展扫黑除恶筑牢法治后盾。

国家市场监管总局修订的《医疗器械生产监督管理办法》和《医疗器械经营监督管理办法》自5月1日起施行。
