Time-lapse photography, also known as time-lapse photography and time-lapse video, is a shooting technique that compresses time. It usually takes a group of photos, and later, by concatenating the photos into a video, the process of several minutes, hours or even days is compressed into a short period of time and played as a video. In a time-lapse video, the process of slowly changing objects or scenes is compressed into a short period of time, presenting a strange and wonderful scene that is usually undetectable by the naked eye.
Time-lapse photography can be considered as a process opposite to high-speed photography. Time-lapse photography is usually used to shoot urban scenery, natural scenery, astronomical phenomena, urban life, architectural manufacturing, biological evolution and other subjects. [1]
